Soybean Paste Soup with Cabbage is a simple Korean soup made with tender cabbage simmered in a savory soybean paste broth. Warm, gentle, and full of homestyle flavor, it’s a comforting dish for everyday meals.

Ingredients
  • Napa cabbage1/5 pcs
  • Tofu1/2 pack
  • Green onion (sliced)1 cup
  • Soybean paste (doenjang)2 tbsp
  • Garlic (minced)1/2 tbsp
  • Coin-shaped stock tablets2 pcs
  • Water4 cups

1. Slice napa cabbage into bite-sized pieces.

2. Cut tofu into bite-sized cubes.

3. Thinly slice green onion.

4. Make the broth: In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the coin-shaped stock tablets and let them dissolve.

5. Stir in soybean paste and minced garlic until fully combined.

6. Add napa cabbage and tofu to the broth.

7. Simmer for about 8 to 10 minutes until the cabbage becomes tender.
